Privacy Policy
Version 2026-10-28. See also our Terms of Service.
This explains what GSLK Investments LLC, a California limited liability company ("we", "us"), collects when you use PawPalPop, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can do about it. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
The short version
We collect your account details, the photos and videos you upload to make your clips, the clips we make for you, a record of your credits and payments, and a simple log of which screens you open. We use it to make your videos and run PawPalPop. We do not sell it, we do not run ads, and we do not use your photos or videos to train AI models. We use one analytics service, PostHog, to count which screens and steps people use, without cookies or screen recordings. Card details are handled by Stripe, not by us. You can delete your clips at any time, and ask us to delete everything.
What we collect
Your account details. Your name, your email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account ID from Google, and nothing else from your Google account.
What you upload. Your pet photo, and your source video if you upload your own, together with the confirmations you tick: that the pet is yours or you have permission, and that you have the rights to the video. A source video may show people; we may detect their faces in order to blur them, but we do not identify anyone or keep a record of their faces.
What we make. Your previews and finished videos, and their settings (trend, quality, length).
Credits and payments. Your plan, credits and free generations, and a record of every charge, refund and receipt. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we see the outcome and the last details Stripe shares with merchants, never your full card number.
Support messages. Anything you send us through Help, including files you attach, our replies, and the technical details attached to a report: the screen you were on, the clip it concerns, the app version, and your device and browser. If you send a message without an account, we keep the email address you give us so we can reply.
A usage log. Which screens you open (Create, Gallery, Account, a clip, My tickets), tied to your account, so we can help you when you contact us and find where something is broken. It does not record what you type, or your photos or videos.
Product analytics. To see how PawPalPop is used and where people get stuck, we send PostHog which screens you open and a few steps you take: choosing a video or a trend, picking a style, asking for a preview, changing a style, creating a video and starting or completing a purchase. If you are signed in, these are tied to your account number, never your email or name. PostHog also receives the usual technical details of a web request, such as your browser, device type and IP address, from which it can estimate your country and city. It does not receive what you type, your photos or videos, or your payment details, and it does not record your screen. Nothing is stored on your device for it.
Security records. Sign-ins and sessions, including your IP address and browser, password changes, and records of uploads, previews, videos and errors. We use your IP address to keep PawPalPop secure and to detect abuse, not to work out where you are.
Why we use your information
- To make your previews and videos and keep them in your Gallery.
- To run your account: charge credits, return them when a video fails, and manage your plan.
- To support you when something goes wrong, and to handle appeals and copyright notices.
- To keep PawPalPop safe: preventing abuse, checking uploads against our content rules, and protecting accounts.
- To send the emails you need: confirming your address, resetting your password, telling you a video is ready, and replies to your support messages if you ask for them. We do not send marketing email unless you opt in.
- To meet our legal obligations, including tax and accounting records.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
AI providers
To make a preview or a video, we send your pet photo and the source video (a trend or your own) to a third-party AI generation provider, together with the instructions and settings for the style, sent as files or as links to them. We send no name, email address or account details with them. The providers we use currently include Higgsfield, fal.ai, Kling, Segmind, OpenRouter and Alibaba Cloud, and may change. They process what we send under their own terms to produce the result. We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.
Who else sees your information
We share your information only with the services we need to run PawPalPop, and only as far as they need it:
- AI generation providers (above): your photo and source video, to make previews and videos.
- Our hosting and storage providers: all service data, stored and processed, to run PawPalPop.
- Stripe: what you buy and your payment details, to take payments.
- Our email provider: your email address and name, to send the emails above.
- Google: nothing beyond the sign-in exchange you start, if you sign in with Google.
- PostHog (United States): the screens and steps listed under Product analytics, to understand how PawPalPop is used.
- Telegram: an alert to our staff when a support message arrives, with the ticket's number, category and subject and how many files it has. Never the message itself, the file names or your contact details.
- Platforms you post to: the video and caption you choose to share there, under their own terms.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to enforce our terms, to respond to a copyright notice, to protect PawPalPop or someone's safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different policy. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
What other people see
Nothing, unless you choose it. Your uploads, previews and videos are private to your account. A video you download or post is shared by you, on the terms of wherever you post it.
Cookies and your device
We use one essential cookie, pp_session, to keep you signed in (for a guest, it ends when the browser closes). Your browser also keeps some things only on your device, such as an unfinished clip, your light or dark theme, and which finished clips you have seen. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or analytics cookies; our PostHog analytics runs without cookies and keeps nothing on your device.
How long we keep it
- Guest clips (no account): deleted about 48 hours after the browser was last used.
- Your clips: until you delete them or your account is closed. Deleting a clip deletes its video and photos for good.
- Records of charges, refunds and receipts: kept after a clip or account is deleted, for as long as tax and accounting law require.
- Support messages: kept with your account (or, without an account, with this browser's guest session) and deleted when it is deleted.
- Usage log and security records: 90 days. Signed-in sessions last 7 days from your last visit.
- Your account: while it is open. To close it, email info@pawpalpop.com; we handle closing requests by hand.
Your rights
You can see, download and delete your clips in your Gallery, change your password, and sign out everywhere. You can also ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, to give you a copy, or to delete your account and everything in it. Email info@pawpalpop.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights under those laws, including the right to know what categories of information we collect and the right to opt out of sale or sharing; we do neither. If we deny a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal it.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, connections use HTTPS, the session cookie cannot be read by scripts on the page, and access to your files is limited to you, to the providers that process them, and to our staff when they help you. No service is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and any relevant regulator as the law requires.
Children
PawPalPop is for US residents aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
Where your information is held
We operate from the United States, and PawPalPop is offered to US residents only. Some of our AI providers process your photo and video outside the United States in order to make your video.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will update the version date at the top of this page and tell account holders before the change takes effect.
